Consulting Phase
This phase includes initial discovery meeting in person or via phone conference, consultation on domain and hosting options, navigation and site map design, developing an up-front strategy for search engine readiness at site completion.
DELIVERING YOUR BRAND ONLINE
Design & General Production Phase
This stage includes researching competitive sites, home page and web site design, web design presentation set up on beta site. And then, development of site functionality, HTML production, simple animated GIFs (if needed), conversion and optimization of computer graphics, images and backgrounds for optimal load-time, setting links to email addresses, and uploading and troubleshooting your site. Flash animations when needed and estimated happen in this stage as well.
CREATING A SITE TO ENHANCE YOUR VIEWER'S EXPERIENCE, DELIVERING THE FRESHEST CONTENT
Optional Web Application Phase
This stage includes coding, programming, database driven web applications. This adds functionality to your site, creates your pages dynamically, enhancing the visitor experience with real time data, interactive forms, calendars, e-commerce, ect.
CREATING VISUALLY RICH ENHANCMENTS
Optional Rich Media-Flash
I can add/embed Flash elements to your site to add visual and navigational impact. I usually don't recommend an entire site created in Flash unless you really don't care about Search Engine Optimization. But with that said, I do create a few sites totally produced in Flash. See Samples of my work for a better idea of these wonderful visual/navigational enhancements.
CONTINUAL MARKETING OF YOUR BRAND
Optional Maintenance Phase
I always suggest that clients sign a ongoing maintenance agreement. We then become your virtual webmaster. This includes aesthetic changes as needed, updates to the content and/or photos, and if needed, web hosting. Clients should consider having an area on their web site for self promotions and announcements. Maintenance would include changes to these promotions to highlight new features and services on their site. Keep our staff on hand to take advantage of new trends, technology and creative ideas!
SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING (SEO)
Optional Ongoing Search Engine Readiness Phase
If you plan to obtain new customers online, properly preparing a web site for search engine robots is mandatory. I would recommend a SEO program. This is an ongoing effort that may include development of reciprocal link partners, HTML work, content development, directory submissions, online media (sponsor ad) buys, paid inclusion, online PR and much more.
